Meet the coach.
Hi everyone, and welcome!
My name is Byron Stewart, and I'm proud to be the Director and Head Coach of Byron Stewart Football Coaching, as well as the founder of Byron Stewart Football Coaching CIC, my Community Interest Company.
My mission is simple: to develop players on and off the pitch.
I believe football is about much more than just the game. It's about building confidence, developing character, learning new skills and creating opportunities for people to reach their full potential.
At Byron Stewart Football Coaching, we want to help every individual find their own pathway in sport. Whether that means becoming a player, progressing into coaching, exploring other roles within football or simply enjoying the game, we're here to support and encourage them along the way.
As a UEFA-qualified football coach working within a professional Premier League environment, I'm passionate about bringing high-quality coaching, positive experiences and opportunities to players of all abilities.
- Developing players.
- Building confidence.
- Creating opportunities.
Alongside our regular coaching sessions, we collaborate with Marine Football Club to deliver exciting football camps and half-term tournaments, giving young players the chance to develop their skills, challenge themselves and enjoy football in a positive environment.
Through our community work, we're also committed to making football more accessible, helping individuals build relationships, develop life skills and feel part of something bigger.
This is about more than producing better footballers. It's about helping people grow, creating opportunities and making a lasting difference through the power of sport.
Thank you for taking the time to visit. I look forward to welcoming you to our sessions and being part of your football journey.
See you on the pitch,

What parents say.
Fun first, with plenty of learning along the way.
My son used to be low in confidence and quite shy on the pitch. Byron has changed that. The improvement has been massive, and it's lovely to see.
The sessions are first and foremost fun and enjoyable, but they're educational too. You can really see my daughter learning new skills.
The social side of it is brilliant. Byron's sessions give him the skills he needs, both on and off the pitch.
Football is the hook. Confidence is what stays.
Develop the footballer. Develop the person.
Every session builds skills that work on the pitch and far beyond it. Football is where they practise. Life is where it counts.
Asking for the ball and trying the skill in front of others.
Putting a hand up in class and meeting new people.
Passing, moving and winning together.
Working with classmates, friends and family.
Calling for the ball and listening to the coach.
Speaking up and listening well.
Losing the ball, then winning it back.
Bouncing back from setbacks and mistakes.
Turning up on time and working on the detail.
Routines, homework and keeping promises.
Organising teammates and setting the example.
Taking responsibility and helping others.
